Request a Proclamation and/or Flag Raising

Please be advised that a minimum of 30 days' notice is needed for each proclamation and/or flag raising.

Please be advised that a minimum of 60 days’ notice is needed for each art installation.

Community groups must provide the flag to the Town. The flag will be returned to the community group 'as is' when the occasion being marked is over. The Town accepts no responsibility for the safe keeping or good condition of a community flag.

Community groups will be responsible for the costs of installation and removal of any visual display or artwork installation.  The Town accepts no responsibility for the ongoing maintenance of condition of any display.

Applications must be made on an annual basis; they will not be automatically renewed.
